The "Category Tree (menu)" plugin for the "Pages" module

Plug-in to the page module - anywhere on the site we get and display a menu tree of categories with subcategories of the structure of the page module.
Compatibility of the "Category Menu" plugin.

The plugin is compatible with the latest version of the Cotonti engine, and at the time of creation of the plugin it is v.0.9.25 beta from 04/09/2024.

The plugin was tested on a server running PHP v7.4.

A feature of the plugin is its multilingualism, that is, if you have two or more languages and the names of categories in different languages, then when you change the language, the localization names of the categories also change.

To install and operate the plugin, of course, the installed "Pages" module is required, without it, the plugin simply cannot be installed.

At the moment, installing the plugin in the admin panel is the simplest, "in one click" and does not have its own configuration settings.

To hide categories in the menu, you just need to remove all the rights of a group of users to this category in the settings.

To display the menu anywhere in your template, use the tags that are specified in the instructions for installing the plugin.
